Facebook for the glory of God

So, I don't know if anyone actually reads this, but I thought I'd put it out there...following our devotion last Saturday, how do you think we can use facebook to glorify God?

I've been thinking a lot about this, in fact I stopped updating for a couple of days so I could think about it! I think that there are some obvious things we can do that stop us from doing the opposite. Things like not gossiping, not putting people down, etc. But what are some positives you can use facebook for?

A couple I've come up with are building other people up, supporting people through tough times, celebrating with people in the good times, etc

People also use facebook to promote events and organisations that glorify God, eg https://www.facebook.com/?ref=home#!/group.php?gid=142396569113449&ref=ts the small change for change group on facebook.

What else have you seen that glorifies God on FB?

I think that just comments, can make people feel wanted. If someone puts up some comments time and time again with out someone leaving any feed back people soon feel unwanted. even if the comments that are put up are not postive a reply could make all the different.

I've got friends who are using facebook for the purpose of afirmgust (as in august, affirming people not auging them whatever that might be) and there posting all affirmative things on there about each other.

Yeah, I've seen something about that. Is it just something they made up amongst themselves?
